Comment fic for the second of the two pictures posted at today's SWMOM at [ profile] jim_and_bones  (members-locked).  The thing with fandom is, you start out on the high-dudgeon horse of "I'll NEVER WRITE X" and eventually?  Yeah, you totally do.

He thought Jim was asleep when he first came into the room-- curled up as he sometimes was, fool boy, forgetting the covers despite being buck-naked. )

Title: Manhattan (Weeks Gone By)
Word Count: 7988
Rating: R for adult themes—marriage, sadness, death of secondary characters, life being generally hard with the grief, anger and depression that come along with that and getting older.
Betas: The marvelous [ profile] sangueuk and [ profile] abigail89 . Thank you, darlings!
Summary: For the [ profile] jim_and_bones St. Patrick’s Day challenge, because only I can turn a flash fic prompt into 8000 words. I haven't been able to stop listening to Frightened Rabbit’s “In Living Colour”  from their Winter of Mixed Drinks album as I was trying to figure out what I wanted to say for my next story, and then this challenge came along, and literal writer! is literal, so, there you go.

The prompt was "Manhattan," and the boys wanted to be married in modern times and run a bar in the Village with the whole gang involved.  Non-happy-fun-times ensue before things sort of resolve.  There are some ideas [ profile] weepingnaiad  and [ profile] sangueuk  will recognize from various discussions we’ve had, as well as [ profile] canis_takahari’s fanon Gaila & Jim friendship, including de rigueur pedicures.

Title:  AT & T Had it Wrong
Rating/Warnings:  R, male sexings, language, infidelity
Disclaimer:  Not ours.  But our handbasket to hell has peaches and bourbon and epic reading material.
Summary: [ profile] 1297 wrote "Forever hold your peace" which was not the last word. Because she's so good to me, she followed it up with 20th Century Boy, . I thought it was time Karl said his piece.  Lucky for me, 1297 agreed.

Yep.  More prompt fill for [ profile] 1297 's naughty or nice promptfest this weekend.  This time, Kirk/McCoy, the prompt being nice, some people never say the words "i love you", it's not their style to be so bold...but like a child i'm longing to be told.  Thread here.  Promptfest here.  Go.  Read.  Prompt.  Comment on the excellent fills. In response to a prompt at this weekend's [ profile] stxi_sinfest , lyrics to Springsteen's "I'm on Fire," requesting TOS Spock and Nu!Kirk. Underage and accordingly dubcon, dark and squicky as hell, cleaned up and expanded from the original post. Major character deaths.

Written for [ profile] stxi_sinfest 4, for the prompt of Joni Mitchell's "Case of You."  Original thread, complete with editing and html fails here.  One-shot.  I listened to Diana Krall's "Live in Paris" version while writing.

Loving Jim Kirk was impossible. )

Title:  Four Fierce Chocolate Cakes
Author:  blcwriter
Word Count:  6520 +
Rating:  R for sexual language and imagery-- no actual sex, m/m relationship
Characters:  Kirk, Spock, Uhura, McCoy
Summary:  There have been many hot, excellent, well-written K/S/U fics, and yet ... what if Kirk turned Spock and Uhura down?  What if Kirk wasn't quite the complete slut everyone thinks he is?  And what would happen if someone didn't take Kirk's no for an answer the first time he said it?  Four fierce chocolate cakes, that's what.  Kind of cracky, maybe a little OOC, but-- slut!Kirk fics are the opposite of my kink, and I was feeling kind of cranky when I wrote this.
